The description states simply:
PORTLAND HEAD LIGHT
PORTLAND HARBOR, MAINE
–The area is known more widely as Cape Elizabeth, and the lighthouse was built in 1791. There has been little change to the buildings themselves, but the lighthouse itself has been upgraded several times from its original whale oil lamps, as well as shortened 20 feet. It is the oldest lighthouse in the state of Maine.
This card was used and is dated 18 August 1947

Buffalo, New York State Teacher’s College

This illustration shows the entrance and main building of what was then called the Buffalo Teacher’s College in Buffalo, New York.
There is no description on the back of this card.
The institution has gone through a number of name changes, and has been greatly expanded. It is now known as the State University College at Buffalo, or Buffalo State College.
This particular building is now known as Rockwell Hall.
The name shown on the card was used from 1929 to 1946, so that constrains the date of the card. This card was used, and is dated 27 July 1945

There is no description on the back of this card.
The monument is to Samuel de Champlain,  the founder of New France and Quebec City in 1608. He holds a place and stature in Canadian history, and particularly French Acadian history, as the Father of New France.
This postcard was used and likely dates from the 1940s.

—The motel still exists at the present location, but after being purchased by a larger chain has been completely reconstructed with more modern buildings and rooms, and fewer total units.
The cars in this image indicate it dates from the 1950s.

U.S. Highway 66 through the Sandia Mountains, New Mexico

This image shows a section of the historic highway U.S. 66 as it ascends into the Sandia Mountains east of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The description states:
HERE IS SEEN A BREATH-TAKING PANORAMA as U.S. Highway 66 winds through the picturesque Sandia Mountains towards the City of Albuquerque. Approaching the city thru Tijeras Canyon is a thrilling sight as this scenic highway emerges from the base of the Sandias to the beautiful vista of the Rio Grande.
–U.S. 66 has been replaced along most of its original course with Interstate 40, and some of the original roadway was abandoned when a more optimal route was established for the replacement highway. It can be seen that the quality of road construction at this point was fairly simple and basic, and in some cases did not allow for the expansion required for the new Interstate system.
This post card was used and is dated 12 July 1953.

Administration Building, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque

This illustration shows the main entrance to the Administration building at the University of New Mexico. It is built in the style of the Native American adobe pueblos that were common in New Mexico for thousands of years.

…built in Spanish-Pueblo design, this building contains 73 rooms on three floors. The atmosphere and architecture of the University itself reflect the unique character of New Mexico. The campus is beautifully located on a high mesa overlooking the city of Albuquerque, about one mile from the downtown business section. The bronze status of the symbolic Lobo Wolf hands an a concrete pedestal at the entrance to the athletic stadium.
