This image shows the world famous Tabernacle building on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. While this building was long used as a meeting place and performance center for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, it has been at least partially replaced by the much larger and more recently built Conference Center.
The description states:
L. D. S. TABERNACLE

Completed by the “Mormon” Pioneers in 1867, the world-famous Tabernacle on historic Temple Square has a seating capacity of 8,000 and houses on of the finest pipe organs in the world. Noted for it unique architecture and its exceptional acoustical qualities, it is used as a house of worship and for presentation of cultural concerts and nation-wide radio broadcasts.
–The choir still performs in this space after renovation in 2007. This building is also featured elsewhere on this blog.
This card likely dates from the 1950s.
