GUN MUSEUM — HAROLD’S CLUB
Located on the second floor of Harold’s Club, this collection contains thousands of ancient firearms. The same museum also contains collections of unusual carriages, Indian weapons, and souvenirs from may battlefields.
–The presence of slot machines meant that children would not be able to visit the collection, as casinos did not allow anyone under 18 inside. The collection was eventually sold at auction when the Harold’s Club company was purchased by another owner.
This card likely dates from the 1950s.
Lived in Reno for 12 years 70s and 80s did the gun collection. Very much historical information at every type of gun.To bad that was lost to the general public. Now the punt gun about 12 feet long was floated in the water and loaded with rocks glass nails and shot at ducks geese and would kill several birds with one shot.They would be sold at market. This all transpired in the 1700,hundreds. To bad its gone.
