Erected in 1953 in honor of Donald Johnston, a founder and first president of Kiwanis. Located in the Virgin forest at Hartwick Pines State Park, Grayling, Michigan.

–The Chapel in the Pines is the centerpiece of the state park to this day.

This card is dated 1955.
