Mormon Temple at Dusk, Salt Lake City, Utah

This image is of the same Temple shown previously, but from a somewhat different angle, and near the time of sunset. The building and towers are illuminated in preparation for advancing night.

The description states:

Centering the intersection of Main and South Temple Streets is this impressive monument built in honor of the early “Mormon” Church Leader. Constructed in 1897 the heroic leader has his hand outstretched as if welcoming every visitor to the city. Behind the bronze and granite structure is the historic “Mormon” Temple in all its architectural beauty.

–This card likely dates from the 1950s.
