While this card is not marked as such, it is likely it is also from the northern lower peninsula. The waves present on the water point to the shoreline of either Lake Michigan or Lake Huron, both of which are close by the Iron River area.

No vacation is complete without a drive over one of the many beautiful and scenic highways of this area.
–The large flattened grey area near the distant car is a turnout, both to allow other, faster cars to pass safely and to allow travelers an opportunity to get out, take pictures, or even collect rock souvenirs. The cars present in the scene confirm the date on the card: 1954.
